Since 1989, IDONA has been producing and furnishing atypical interiors of hotels, offices, retail and private areas where there is a need to harmonise the investor’s ideas with the architect’s thoughts in unison with the production process in order to create an individual interior. The company currently operates mainly in the hotel segment as an FF&E partner throughout Europe.

With a team of more than 60 experienced production specialists, IDONA has high-quality sawing and machining technologies based on CNC machines and gluing with LASER, PUR and EVO technologies. The company also includes a technical preparation department, where designers, after consulting with the project architect, prepare the production documentation for each element. The documentation is archived for at least 10 years.

In 2004, we receive ISO 9001: 2000 certification in the area of “Design and manufacture of furniture and interior fittings.”

In 2007, we become the holder of the ISO certificate according to the new ISO 9001: 2008 standard.

Company History


The story of IDONA begins in 1989 just three days before 17th November. Today, like then, we want to be that one step ahead. We are one of the leading Slovak manufacturers of comprehensive interior solutions for hotels, restaurants, offices and private buildings. The quality of our service brings added value, especially in exclusive technical and design solutions. We pamper our clients with uniqueness in details, constant innovation depending on their taste, captivating sophistication and special accessories.


The 90s are characterised by successful implementation in the “office and bank” segment, thanks to the professionally managed blend of traditional carpentry craftmanship with emerging new standards. Production is continuously supplemented by CNC technologies and consultancy in the so-called space plan service.


At the turn of the millennium, IDONA employs more than 50 people and has carried out many successful transformation projects in the banking sector. Our brand and quality are regularly praised by participants at domestic and foreign exhibitions (Nitra – SK, Cologne – DE). We extend our activities to the hotel and restaurant interior segment.

Providing a comprehensive service has proven to be an elixir to overcome the emerging market crisis. By optimising production processes (lean and efficient production) we even increase our activities and sales in the hospitality segment. The result is new hotel references on the Slovak market: Hotel TATRA | Hotel PAVLA | Hotel ALBRECHT | Penzión SLALOM | Hotel SALAMANDRA.
IDONA becomes an authorised supplier to the automotive importer Škoda Auto Slovakia.


We actively enter foreign markets – Austria, Croatia, Germany.
BusinessNews – partners and customers are regularly informed electronically about our activities and successful projects.
IPS System (Idona Project management Services) – we defined and implemented a higher level of customer relationship management.


New IDONA company premises (approx. 9,000 m2) and demanding relocation. Subsequently, we add new CNC-based technology to the production portfolio and introduce a progressive company management system.


IDONA has been operating for three decades… We celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company’s founding.
Hotel Meininger, Paris – successful implementation of the largest project in the company’s history.
This year, a generational change in the company’s management begins.


In the challenging year of 2020, we completed and delivered another large project in Germany for the FourSide Hotel chain.
